By accessing or using Cairo AI ("Service"), operated by Cairo Technologies AB ("Cairo," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users, including merchants, team members, and any other individuals accessing the Service on behalf of a business entity.

Cairo AI is an artificial intelligence-powered customer support automation platform designed for e-commerce businesses. The Service:

• Integrates with your email provider (e.g., Gmail) to read and draft responses to customer inquiries
• Connects with your e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify) to access order data, tracking information, and refund capabilities
• Uses machine learning to improve response quality based on your feedback
• May autonomously send responses once accuracy thresholds are met and you have enabled this feature

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Have the authority to bind the business entity you represent
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

By connecting your email and e-commerce accounts to Cairo, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal right to grant Cairo access to these accounts
• You have obtained any necessary consents from your customers to process their personal data through our Service
• Your use of the Service complies with your own privacy policy and all applicable laws
• You will maintain appropriate privacy notices informing your customers about your use of AI-assisted support

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send spam, phishing, or fraudulent communications
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
• Process data of individuals under 16 years of age without appropriate parental consent

Important: Cairo generates draft responses using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate suggestions.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before it is sent to your customers
• If you enable autonomous sending, you accept full responsibility for all communications sent on your behalf
• Cairo is a tool to assist your customer support operations, not a replacement for human judgment
• You remain the sender of all emails and are responsible for their content

Cairo shall not be liable for any damages arising from AI-generated content, including but not limited to incorrect refund promises, inaccurate order information, or customer complaints resulting from automated responses.

Cairo offers an optional autonomous sending feature that, when enabled, allows the AI to send responses without manual approval. This feature:

• Is disabled by default and requires explicit opt-in
• Only becomes available after the AI demonstrates consistent accuracy on similar ticket types
• Can be disabled at any time through your account settings
• Operates according to the policies and rules you configure

By enabling autonomous sending, you accept full responsibility for all communications sent by Cairo on your behalf.

The Service is offered under various subscription plans as described on our pricing page. By subscribing:

• You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Fees are non-refundable except as provided in our refund policy
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice

Free Trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the Service.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you are not satisfied with the Service, contact us within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund.

Our Property: The Service, including its software, design, features, and documentation, is owned by Cairo and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service according to these terms.

Your Content: You retain ownership of your data, including customer emails, order information, and business policies you upload to the Service.

Feedback: If you provide suggestions or feedback about the Service, we may use it without obligation to you.

Learning Data: The patterns and improvements learned from your feedback are used solely to improve the Service for your account. We do not use your data to train models for other customers.

Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. By using the Service, you agree to these documents.

For the personal data of your customers that you process through the Service, you act as the data controller and Cairo acts as the data processor under GDPR.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible)
• Emergency maintenance or security updates
• Factors beyond our reasonable control

We are not liable for any damages resulting from Service interruptions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• CAIRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT OR AUTONOMOUS SENDING FEATURES

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cairo, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Communications sent through the Service, whether manually approved or autonomously sent

By You: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, fail to pay fees, or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. We will provide notice unless immediate action is required.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will delete your data according to our data retention policy, unless legally required to retain it.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
